To whom Urolesan
- acute and chronic urinary tract infections( cystitis and pyelonephritis) is indicated;
- urolithiasis and uric acid diathesis( prevention of stone formation after removal);
- chronic cholecystitis( including calculous);
- dyskinesia of the biliary tract;
How to use Urolesan
How to use and dose
The drug is used internally before meals.
Doses for adults: 1 teaspoon( 5 ml) of syrup 3 times a day before meals. The duration of the course of therapy is determined individually, depending on the effectiveness of treatment and, as a rule, is from 5 to 7 days for acute conditions and from 7 days to 1 month for chronic conditions. With renal and hepatic colic, a single dose can be increased to 2 teaspoons( 10 ml once), and then return to normal( 5 ml).
Doses for children: 1 - 2 years - 1 - 2 ml 3 times a day;2 - 7 years - 2-4 ml 3 times a day;7 - 14 years - 4-5 ml 3 times a day( using a syringe dispenser).
Features of the application of
Due to the presence of sugar syrup in the composition, it must be carefully prescribed to patients with diabetes mellitus, as well as patients with high blood glucose.
Do not use if the diameter of the stones exceeds 3 mm.
Experience in pregnant and lactating women is absent.
There are no special warnings for drivers of vehicles( if there are no side effects).
Side effects of Urolesan
Dizziness, nausea, allergic reactions.
To whom is contraindicated Urolesan
Hypersensitivity to components of the preparation;gastritis;peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.
Interaction of Urolesan
Overdosage of Urolesan
Overdose of the drug may cause dizziness or nausea.
Treatment: abundant warm drink, calm, activated charcoal, atropine sulfate( 0.0005 - 0.001 g).
